Marchesa Piemonte doc Albarossa Gold Label: the wine is obtained from Albarossa (clone of Nebiolo and Barbera at 50%) and Pelaverga (the original vine of the Barolo area with an intense aroma of black pepper), vinified separately in steel with cold extraction of the perfumes in harvest and subsequent fermentation in steel at controlled temperature with microoxygenation at each reassembly, subsequently assembled with 85% Albarossa, 15% Pelaverga with one year of aging in steel.Soft and velvety in the mouth with intense spicy scent with hints of black pepper, excellent wine for any kind of meat pairing for those who love red wines without hints of wood.

Total acres: 12,35 all owned by the estate
Cultivation: With a mix of trichoderma and micro-organism in order to obtain grapes with higher antioxidant power.
Grapes: Albarossa 85% – Pelaverga 15%
Winegrowing: Ecological Cultivation Reg. EU 1257/99 ex 2078/92
Harvest time: from September 25th to October 10th
Winemaking: Stainless steel under controlled temperature with micro-oxygenation in order to make the tannins softer; Winemaking with selected yeast in absence of sulphites after cryomaceration in order to obtain a more deep colour and more aromatic complexity; 15 months aging stainless steel.
Sulphites: 80-100 mg/lit (much less than as admitted by law)
Alcohol content: 14%%vol.
Acidity: 5,30 g/l
Colour: deep burgundy garnet red.
Matching: excellent for pairings with important first and second courses of red meat and game
Flavour: very special with aromatic complexity made of spices and ripe fruits together with black pepper and minerality notes.
Taste: the great structure, the soft tannins, the absence of wood notes, the long after taste makes this wine really superb, due to the unique blend between Albarossa and Pelaverga, the two autochthonous grapes from Piedmont.
