La Marchesa – Regillo: our extra virgin olive oil

Our oil comes from the Tenuta di Pietra Porzia in Frascati, a natural amphitheater of 47 hectares, perhaps the only intact landscape around Rome, belonging to the Giulini family for a century, also owner of The Marchesa Estate.

Historical Estate with archaeological remains dating back to the Roman Empire, in addition to the typical vineyards of the area, it has 11 hectares of olive grove with 2500 plants and a company’s oil mill.

The varieties are the traditional ones Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo, Rosciola, Carboncella. The olives, cold pressed when harvested, give an extra virgin olive oil with very low acidity, very rich in antioxidant polyphenols.

The small production of very high quality is exported to Japan and sold only to our private customers of the winery or farmhouse of the two companies.
