La Marchesa – Regillo: our extra virgin olive oil
Our oil comes from the Tenuta di Pietra Porzia in Frascati, a natural amphitheater of 47 hectares, perhaps the only intact landscape around Rome, belonging to the Giulini family for a century, also owner of The Marchesa Estate.
Historical Estate with archaeological remains dating back to the Roman Empire, in addition to the typical vineyards of the area, it has 11 hectares of olive grove with 2500 plants and a company’s oil mill.
The varieties are the traditional ones Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo, Rosciola, Carboncella.The olives, cold pressed when harvested, give an extra virgin olive oil with very low acidity, very rich in antioxidant polyphenols.
The small production of very high quality is exported to Japan and sold only to our private customers of the winery or farmhouse of the two companies.

Pressing
Through cold mechanical extraction in our own oil mill. The storage is done in stainless steel tanks kept always at a constant temperature and under nitrogen.
Tasting card
Flavour and Taste: light oil with very low acidity, intense taste rich of fruity and spicy perfumes, high level of polyphenols, that guarantee oil conservation over time.
Sale of oil
Sale of oil to individuals with price lists available on request: every weekday from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 17:00, including Saturday morning. Out of hours the sale can be by reservation. It is possible to collect the purchased products from the farmhouse.
The Marchesa Estate is a member of the Association of Italian Historic Houses (ADSI) and is listed on the website of the Association: Italian Historic Houses.
