Historical Villa’s gold Experience

Vineyards, gardens and winery tour, visit of our XVIII century villa with an aperitif or lunch/dinner in the villa’s dining room 

The tour starts from our vineyard terrace that has a nice view on the Monferrato hills, the Alps, the Oltrepò Pavese hills and the Maritime Alps. Our 76 hectares are under the protection of the Italian nation as landscape landmark, as well as our natural lake. After a brief e estate history and the territory, the visit will go on the fruit and aromatic herbs garden, the Italian garden, the chapel of the villa, the lemon house and the cellar, with the explanation of the winemaking process. The estate owner will then invite and host in his home, the ViIla (National Monument from 1700AC). In the Villa you will appreciate many art pieces, a wide collection of walking sticks, paintings, porcelains and old forniture. Inside the Villa dinner hall you will have the Aperitif, in which you will taste our products. During our wine tasting session you will discover the Gavi, which is the real protagonist of the region of Alto Monferrato, in which the company operates. You will also taste our reds: Piemonte DOC Albarossa and Monferrato DOC Rosso Pelvaro, both made using autochthonous grape varieties, the Albarossa and the Pelaverga. You will discover their unique aromatic complexity, with notes of Blackcurrant, ripe fruits and white pepper. During the experience you will see how our winemaking process is keen to lower the preservatives quantities of our wine, and how we preserve the primary aromas of the wines, also avoiding the usage of oak barrels.
